Huda Beauty launches her new Desert Dusk Eyeshadow Palette!
That image on the outer packaging is totally stealing the spotlight now, it’s great! The inner packaging is also an upgrade from the previous palette as this one has mirrors! You know how we feel about mirrors — woohoo. The previous version had a clear shadow overlay and therefore no mirrors.
This lovely, mostly war-hued palette includes 8 matte shades, 6 pressed pearl shades, 3 double chrome accents and 1 sheer shimmer. The matte is highly pigmented and creamy, ranging from soft nude shades to medium transition shades and some incredibly bold pops of purple and orange!
Honestly, I’m really having a hard time finding what’s wrong with this palette. I really like the look I can create, the smoothness and pigmentation of the shade. There’s a little bit of excitement, but nothing like a subculture palette. I had no issues with blending or picking up colors from shadows. If you are looking for a fall palette, I highly recommend this one.
I am so impressed with this palette! I know I love the look of it, but playing around with the colors and testing the formula further reiterates that we definitely have a winner.
